Ring and Cylinder Installation for a Riyadh Cultural Atrium

A 12-metre atrium composition of brass rings and opal cylinders turns a circulation void into the building’s signature.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The atrium is the first interior guests see after security. The architect wanted a piece that could be read from three floors at once, without blocking daylight from the skylight. We composed concentric brass rings with a field of suspended opal cylinders, each on its own drop length taken from a laser survey. All rings are 2700–3000K tunable white, DALI-2, with a daylight-linked scene that holds the cylinders just above the ambient skylight so they never look dull at noon. Cylinders are hand-blown glass with a brass cap and a replaceable LED engine. The installation was trial-hung in our Zhongshan hall against a taped floor plan, then shipped as a numbered kit with a rigging drawing for the local contractor. Two commissioning nights locked the evening scene that now photographs as the project’s identity image.

Brass Globe Chandelier for a Shanghai Hotel Lobby

A custom branching chandelier and matching floor lamps set the arrival sequence for a five-star lobby on the Bund.

The brief asked for a single sculptural piece that could hold a 7-metre lobby volume without competing with the limestone architecture. We developed a brass branching chandelier with hand-blown opal globes, sized on site from a 1:10 mock-up and a lighting mesh in DIALux. Each globe is an independently dimmable LED module at 2700K, CRI 90+, wired to a DALI-2 scene set for daytime check-in, evening arrival, and late-night quiet hours. Matching floor lamps and table lamps carry the same globe language into the lounge alcoves so the room reads as one family of fixtures. The chandelier was assembled in Zhongshan, pre-wired, and shipped in two crates with a numbered hanging plan. On-site commissioning took two nights after the stone work was complete. The finished lobby now uses one fixture language from the porte-cochère through to the lift lobby.

Branching Chandelier for a Hangzhou Lakeside Villa

A residential chandelier scaled from our hospitality globe family, with matching table lamps for the living room and garden view.

The owners wanted the warmth of a hotel lobby chandelier in a private living room that opens to the lake. We scaled the branching globe language down to a 1600 mm span, used a quieter brass tone, and kept every globe on a separate dimming channel so the room can sit at 10% after dinner. Table lamps on the sideboard share the same opal glass so the chandelier does not feel like a one-off. Drivers are 2700K, CRI 95, TRIAC dimmable to match the house’s existing wall controls. Cable drops were cut on site after the sofa placement was confirmed. The fixture was finished, photographed, and crated as a single piece. Installation took an afternoon. The living room now holds the view at dusk without turning on the downlights.

Glare-Controlled Linear Light for a Singapore Boardroom

A single architectural linear and a cove wash give a 14-seat boardroom video-call grade lighting without downlight scallops.

The headquarters boardroom had floor-to-ceiling glass on one side and a dark timber wall on the other. Recessed downlights were producing glare on the conference camera and hot spots on the table. We replaced the grid with one custom linear pendant, a table-integrated task slot, and a wall-wash cove. The pendant uses a low-glare opal lens at 3000K, CRI 90, with DALI-2 dimming tied to occupancy and a video-call scene that lifts vertical illuminance on faces. The cove keeps the dark millwork from falling to black on camera. All drivers sit in a remote cupboard so the ceiling stays silent. Lead time from approved drawing to delivery was 18 days. After commissioning, measured UGR on the sitting line stayed under 19, and the video-call scene now runs as the default weekday preset.

Linear Pendants for a Dubai Dining Gallery

A run of custom linear pendants zones a long communal table while keeping the bar and booths on separate scenes.

This restaurant needed three light levels in one room: a bright, even wash over the communal table, a tighter glow at the bar, and a quieter field for booth dining. We designed a family of linear pendants in brushed brass with an opal acrylic diffuser, hung at 1900 mm above the table so faces stay modelled and plates stay readable. The pendants use 2700K integrated LED with CRI 95 and a 0–10V / DALI hybrid driver, so the operator can drop the dining scene without dimming the bar bottle wall. Timber slat walls are grazed from a concealed linear slot so the room still has vertical light when the pendants are at 20%. All fixtures were finished to a project-matched brass sample, packed with a hanging template, and commissioned against a four-scene preset. The result is a dining room that can move from lunch service to late supper without changing a lamp.
